West to East specializes in a variety of unique merchandise ranging from specialty gifts, home accents, and furnishings. Rachael and Brian are dedicated to providing customers with exceptional customer service in a visibly relaxing and engaging shopping environment. The mission is to provide customers with unique, high-quality merchandise at affordable prices.

Rachael and Brian Hanson had a vision of owning a retail store in the St. Augustine area that showcased both of their talents. The combination of their past career backgrounds makes them a unique team. Brian has been in residential construction for 15+ years and a General Contractor in California and now in Florida. 

He has an incredible eye for design and space planning. Rachael has 15 years’ experience in the fashion industry as a designer. She has worked with major retailers such as Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Hurley and Abercrombie and Fitch just to name a few. Color, trend and design is in their my blood!

Before moving to St. Augustine from California Brian and Rachael work together on multiple interior design projects. Together they found a passion for home furnishings and decor.
